This is for those who may be thinking, “I can’t relax,” or, “It is too much for me,” or “I can’t fit it all in today.” The child energy within you may be asking for rest, peace, and relaxation. Strengthen the new belief of peace and rest by looking for opportunities of peace and rest. Create peace by promoting opportunities as a child would have experienced to help them rest, such as going to bed on time or relaxing in the bathtub in the evening. Learn to balance your schedule by not overscheduling activities. Instead schedule in relaxation time. The inner child can sense the stress of people around and therefore can’t rest until others are rested. Give that inner child permission to set aside their burden and rest.
