Cilantro essential oil is quite different to Coriander oil as you can see from the below Comparative Chemical Composition chart. They come from the same plant, but have different qualities. Cilantro oil comes from the leaf and Coriander oil comes from the seed.
BODY
Like most herbs, Cilantro helps with digestion. It is great for the organs too.1
It helps boost immunity and protects against micro-environmental threats.2
Since I have started my kids out the not using all natural remedies, I felt like my children needed some sort of gentle body cleansing. To save time, I added Cilantro to the immunity blend that I put on my kids feet every morning. After about a year or so, I felt that my children were healthier and so I only use cilantro every now and then when we need it.
The whole family enjoy the benefits of cilantro oil when we make salsa. I use the fresh herb and a drop of the cilantro oil.
If there is anything to do with the brains for anyone old or young, I would use this oil to help cleanse toxins from the brain. 3
Connected & Focused Kids: Dilute & mix Fractionated Coconut Oil and rub on their big toes to assist the body in cleansing toxins.*

2 drops Patchouli. Rub on bottom of feet.*

Heavy Metal Cleansing: Assist the detoxification of heavy metals from brains and organs when taken internally or applied topically. Use 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day for as long as needed.
Seasoning: Add 1 drop into a bowl of salsa & other dishes.
Immunity Boosting: Add Cilantro oil to your immunity blend*
The oil of Releasing Control: Smell often to relax and ease the mind. Cilantro helps to release the need for control.*
Gut Care & Sleep: Sometimes there are too many toxins in our gut and organs making it difficult to sleep through the night. Try mixing 1-2 drops of Cilantro with 1-2 drops of Digestzen and rubbing it on the bottom of the feet morning and night for a few months.*

Cilantro is the Oil of Releasing Control. According to the Emotions & Essential Oils, the negative emotions Cilantro oil helps to release are as follows: Controlling, toxic, constricted, obsessive-compulsive, clingy, worried, trapped
The positive properties we can incorporate are the following: Cleansing, liberated, detached, untroubled
Obsession and Clingy: Help create healthier relationships. Smell Cilantro.
When we are controlling things we can’t control we generally have a subconscious fear of lack of control. As ironic as it is, and as hard to admit as it is, we often believe that we are the only one who can do it right! Holding onto this state will create stress in our minds and body. We are literally hurting ourselves by making room for toxins to stay in our system.
As we open our minds and eyes up to other people’s light and abilities our body will physically let go of toxins. Allowing the mind and body to be cleansed will liberate the spirit. When the spirit is liberated it is no longer unattached to the minor, insignificant daily details.
As we allow the mind to be at ease and lightened the cilantro oil will not only not smell pleasant, it may even cause the head to clear internal conflicts. Define where you have control and where you don’t. Let go of what you can’t control.
Physically it releases toxins but mentally it also stops one from being toxic to others too. With regular self examination we can identify that we feel constricted, obsessive, clingy, emotionally trapped because we are fearful of something. Usually it is fear of the unknown. To remedy this, we can write down our fears and re-write new mental scripts that will help us trust God and others more.
Affirmations:
I am unattached to outcomes
I am liberated and untroubled
With God, I am in control of what I am entrusted to control

SPIRIT
Allowing the mind to be cleansed will liberate the spirit. When the spirit is liberated it is no longer unattached to the minor daily details. We have to allow the mind to be at ease and lightened or else the cilantro will not only not smell pleasant, it may even cause the head to ache as it struggles with internal conflicts.
One of my daughter is a perfectionist. She can be quite bossy with her younger sisters. I offered her cilantro to smell when she gets too much for her younger sisters’ to bare. The funny thing is, this lil’ bossy-boot actually likes the smell of cilantro most days and says that it smells like grass!
*Note about ingesting oils: I only recommend the dōTERRA CPTG essential oils that are labeled for internal usage. I can not vouch for any other brand or grade.
