When you want to be truly beautiful…
- When there are so many conflicting messages around you about beauty
- When you want to be accepted and fit in
- When you are so concerned about what others might think of your looks
- When you need to know how to accept yourself better
Who doesn’t want to look good? Our human eyes want to see pretty and nice things don’t we. I try not to be too vain and distracted from what is most important so this is something I learned.
First of all, know that God loves you regardless of how you look. Our looks doesn’t determine our worth or value to God. You can be happy and serve your life’s purpose even if you don’t look the part or measure up to other people’s social standards.
I learned that beauty is linked to cleanliness. Let’s not get distracted by the world’s ever changing measures and standards about beauty. Let’s focus on spiritual cleanliness and eventually your outward appearance will reflect that light and energy within. There are many scriptures about being clean and here is one of them.
“…Now I would that ye should remember that God has said that the inward vessel shall be cleansed first, and then shall the outer vessel be cleansed also.” ~Alma 60:23
I think someone who is faith-filled, loving, kind and focused on God will reflect God’s light on their countenance. We can generally tell and are attracted to them even if they don’t fit the fashion magazine standards.
How I strive to be clean on the inside first…
- Faith & Obedience: I try to focus on strengthening my faith each day and being more obedient to the divine directives I receive from God. Obedience allows us to be spiritually clean. We can know when we are in good standing with God. I try to fill up my heart with God’s love. A person who is filled with divine love is more attractive to others. God helps me be more secure and confident. He defines what is beautiful and enough.
- Be content & unattached to worldly standards: Look in the mirror and love what you have. Appreciate what God has given you. Let’s be grateful for the blessing of our body. Talk to your body and thank your body for all the blessings it brings to you. I ask myself, “can I still serve God looking like this?” Yes! I will use what I have and magnify it. We don’t need the world to validate us and fill up our fundamental human needs. Why should we let the world determine if we are good enough?
- Cleanse your body physically: Every 4 months or so I like to do the 30-days Cleanse & Restore Challenge. I like to take supplements, drink essential oils and eat a healthy diet all the time as part of my lifestyle. When I cleanse my body this way my hair and nail grows stronger and healthier. My skin clears up. My brain thinks with more clarity and I feel my body more acutely. The body sends a lot of signals to our brain and helps us in life on so many levels.
- Confidence & Integrity: The more you know yourself, who you are and what you are meant to do here on earth, the easier it is to be true to yourself. It is easier to stick to your boundaries when you know yourself. Confidence comes from being decisive about who you are and who you are committed to serve. No one can manipulate you and pressure you to conform to them when you are clear on who your master is.

Need help understanding your subconscious self?
Are you new to the world of Energy Balancing? Are you new to emotionally healing with essential oils?
If you are new to all this, please book a time with me as we explore your subconscious mind.
Why is understanding the subconscious mind important?
The subconscious mind holds the belief systems from which we operate. Belief drives actions. Actions create the results of our lives. If we rely on the conscious mind to control things with sheer logic and will power, we’ll struggle. It will be difficult to make major permanent progressive changes in our lives unless we make significant changes in our belief system.
As long as the subconscious and the conscious mind is aligned, you’ll be able to make great strides in your personal progression. If there are any conflicts in the subconscious and the conscious mind, you’ll experience self-sabotage and divine-discontents.
Many times, the belief systems in the subconscious is influenced by generational belief patterns. In our session, I can help you discover some of the unsupportive cultural trappings and social dogmas you’ve unintentionally adopted. After a few sessions, you’ll hopefully be able to pick up these skills to continue to do on your own.
