Summer Savory

Summer Savory is the oil of the Quickened Heart.  Summer Savory invites all to heal the heart by replacing bitterness, complaining, guilt, hatred, resentment, depression, frustration, confused, indecisiveness, annoyed, and panic with sweetness and abundance of joy.

It is unnecessary to hold onto old negative energy in the heart.  Summer Savory invites one to clean out the prolonged negative heart energy. It encourages us to warm up and open the heart up to divine communications.

Used throughout ancient Egypt, the dried summer savory herb was used in various ways.  Be cautious when inhaling and using topically due to the high carvacrol and γ-terpinene content.  Summer Savory is a warm oil.

Summer Savory, Satureja hortensisused is native to Europe and used to season food by many cultures.  As an essential oil it has a warm and herbaceous aroma similar to that of Oregano and Thyme and can be used to flavour your savoury and meat dishes.

Summer Savory is a great source of antioxidant. Studies show that it can reduce DNA damage caused by oxidative stress in rats.

Summer Savory reflects the fire element. The fire element is associated with the heart, pericardium, small intestines and related to the tongue. It is about creation, ambition, and action.

This may be a hot oil to some.  Take 1-2 drops internally in a capsule.  Apply to the bottom of feet.  Dilute when applying topically.  Diffuse in the air.  Season food with 1- 2 drops.
