Sweet Sugar, Honey!

You’ve heard all the warning about sugar right?  You hear that it’s bad, but why is it bad?  And how on earth do you eliminate it totally?? It is so good!!!

Yes, sugar can be very harmful for your body.  In many ways sugar metabolizes in a very similar way to alcohol in your body.  Sugar can damage your liver the same way alcohol does.  Sugar feeds fungus and fungus causes your body to react with inflammation and inflammation breaks down your tissues.  Sugar leads to excess fat production.  Excessive sugar causes excess stress to the other organs in the body too.  Excessive sugar intake is linked to Hypertension, Pancreatitis, Obesity and can cause fetal insulin resistance.

But sugar is very addictive you say? What can we do about this?

Not all sugars are the same.

The refined, bleached and synthetic sugars are toxic.  However, the natural stuff found in nature is ok!  Don’t freak out….Read on and find out why.

Most sugars found in nature is always coupled with the complementary fibers to balance it in our body assisting the metabolic processes of our body.  A sugar cane is a stick!  You can only suck on the sugar cane only for so long before you are filled and satisfied.  White sugar is separated from the essential benefits of the fibre.  So bananas…Yes, bananas are high in sugar but I wouldn’t avoid it like I would with a Sneakers bar.  15 grams of sugar in average banana and 1.56 oz bar 20g.  Sugar found in natural fruits brings much needed nutrients.  A healthy body would not ask for more than a reasonable amount of sugar anyways.  Your healthy body will hit ‘satiety’ before you overdo it. Trust it!

Breathe a sigh of relief!  You are allowed to have the pleasure of sweetness in your life without the guilt!  Nature has provided simple happiness for us to enjoy!  So enjoy it.
