Ravintsara oil is the free oil of the month offered in Feb 2020. As of this writing not yet available for purchase.

Ravintsara oil is distilled from the leaves of Cinnamomum camphora. The dōTERRA Ravintsara is sourced from Madagascar. Cinnamomum camphora is actually a very popular tree used by Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, Koreans and Vietnamese people. The Cinnamomum camphora is a type of Laurel family. The leaves are round, glossy and waxy.¹ Its trunk is wide and it can live over 1000 years. This tree is powerful and hardy with thick trunk and deep roots. It can produce a lot of seed and easily take over an area.²

According to the etymology, Ravin (French ravine) = Deep gorge, rapid, water and Sara (Hebrew) =Princess. I find this interesting to learn. Could it be interpreted as powerful princess?

Ravintsara is the oil of Strength & Clarity. This oil assists us in finding inner strength and clarification. Ravintsara invites us all to know who we really are and to step into our personal power. We can all live life fully regardless of and because of the challenges that we may encounter.

Stand strong, tall, and firm. In order to stand firm, we need to find many supportive evidences that can deeply anchor and root us in place. This can be achieved when we clearly see that all our life challenges and experiences are simply divine learning opportunities and gems of wisdom. Ravintsara encourages us to make these connections.

As we progress in this life, Ravintsara helps us have the clarity and wisdom to create healthy boundaries physically and spiritually. Understand that as a child of God, you are not weak and powerless. Recognize and identify the people, things and situations that you’ve allowed in to ‘bug’ and ‘hurt’ you can no longer afflict you anymore on any level.

We all must descend before we can ascend and transcend. Accept that the discomforts associated with growth is a necessary price to pay for divine progression. With increased light, we can be excited to grow through all challenges that may come.
