How do you set up a dōTERRA Account for someone in Vietnam?

Here is an email from the Global Access Team in doTERRA

Thank you for your email. Vietnam is currently considered a Global Access Country (GAC). I have attached the GAC FAQ sheet for your knowledge and use. Please look over that. We do not ship to Vietnam, nor do we have an office or store there. GAC members can only ship within the US, then have a third party distributor ship to their country. Vietnam is also considered a ‘Not For Resale’ country, meaning members there cannot resell doTERRA product person-to-person or in stores, but they can do demonstrations and help others sign up.

They have the same options as our US members for being a Wellness Advocate, and they can be enrolled online, or we can enroll them over email. They can have an LRP as well. Vietnam Wellness Advocates can earn commissions off of their downlines, just like in the US. However, all earnings go directly into the AR balance to be used towards future purchases in place of cards, or they can be sent in the form of a check once you reach the requirement of $1,000.00.

The Global Access check requirements are as follows:

1. There must be at least $1,000.00 in their AR balance from commissions.

2. The check must go to a US upline’s US address.

3. The upline must email us to let us know that they are going to be responsible for sending the check from their US address to the member in their Global Access Country.

4. The member might want to talk with their bank first to make sure that they will be able to cash the check from the US.

For the shipping from the US to Vietnam, they can ship to a US upline’s address or a forwarding company. doTERRA does not work with third party shipping companies directly. Below are a few options yourself and the potential member(s) can explore to have orders forwarded:

It is up to the member to find a third party shipping company. They can contact the companies directly to get quotes and find the best price/option for them.
