1. dōTERRA business is like any other business. You need sale volume. Sale volume comes from LRP orders. People get on and remain on LRP because they are familiar with the products and it’s uses. The best way to familiarize people with dōTERRA sophisticated products is through education. Education happens when you teach classes, and present information in a digestible form. If you don’t teach (or market), people don’t know and you don’t get sale volume. The truth is people want to buy and are happy to buy WHEN they see value. Great marketing is adding value to that small bottle in their hands through teaching classes. When you stop teaching you stop the lifeblood of your business. The wonderful thing about this business is you have products that work. They are for everyone. You only need to get a few basic classes and skills down well and you simply repeat.

What’s the Importance of Setting Clear Heart Intentions & Expectation?

Sometimes you may say the same things and go through the same motions as others but the results will be different because your intention is different.

You have to be clear yourself WHY you are doing what you are doing first. Pause the video. Take a few moments and ask yourself why am I really doing this? We’ve got plenty of videos and lessons on clarifying your why so I won’t go into it any more here. The heart is a magnet so make sure your magnet is set on good positive clear energy.

If you are nervous and are conflicted you won’t be able to manifest clearly. “I want to help people, but its earning money…yes/no…I want to enroll a lot of people but I am nervous it will be too much work and I can’t handle all of that responsibility”

Clarify your mind, reason with yourself and be decisive. I tell myself that this is my heart’s intentions (heart’s desire)

Practice saying your intentions to your class: My intention today is to share with you my passion about essential oils. I hope to help create communities around the world where there is a healer in every home. (I honor people’s agency and getting them to say yes by adding,) Is everyone good with that?” State what you can do and control. State what you hope the outcome would be.

Have positive unattached expectations:

Think as well of people. You are providing something good for people. They are smart and capable too. Without saying very much naughty non performing kids believe what you believe and start to behave better and perform. One mom came to me one day and said, “My kids love Judo so much, nothing stops them from going to Judo. Last night they asked to stay home from Judo so they can write Alterations for Mrs. Balden. How did you do that?” Adults are the same. All the children of God are capable and smart when they choose to unlock that power within.
Expect that they will understand —even if it’s one day. (Non example: When you think you are smart, everyone is stupid, or less than you…it comes across. repels people like the plague. because you haven’t accepted yourself so people have a hard time accepting you.)
“being unattached” unattaching your happiness to outcomes. People will feel free, safe, respected, and will more likely to choose positively because they don’t feel responsible for your happiness. Inexperience, immature people, attached their happiness to outcomes so they across as manipulative, pushy, & desperate makes people feel guilty. “Salesy”
Example: attached person would say, “If you are smart, you’ll buy the home essentials kit.” Nonattached people would say, “According to your needs, if it was me, the home essentials kit would be the best buy because.…”
If people choose not to go for it, you are not unhappy. You can think, oh well, not the right time for them. Or probably for the best anyways.
I did my part to serve people they are free to choose.

Who are you? Your Identity

Who are you? Know your identity. It might a bit of time to be clear about this.

When you are clear on who you are, it is easier for people to accept and TRUST you because you accept and TRUST yourself. If you haven’t decided who you want to be, you will easily be influenced by and worry about what others think of you, you will get overly concerned about them misunderstanding you. The people who don’t know who they ARE want to take courses and more courses, trainings, certifications forever to help you feel a sense of credibility. Because they need someone to tell them who they are, and give them a title, or permission to help others in some way. I know now, that God qualifies me to do what I do. I answer only to God. He is my business partner and I focus on my path and purpose. Know what you are offering. You are offering CHANGE! Own your own title. You get to give yourself your own title.

Don’t take too long discovering this. Decide on something and refine it as you go. If you were to describe yourself to people, can you give them a few words to describe you? For me it boiled down to “I am a health educator, energy healer and an essential oil enthusiast.” It is sort of like your branding.

If people think you are some crazy oil lady let them. You answer to your higher self which higher self is aligned with God.

Right now you may have other roles/hats you wear. Just for this business, what identity do to you want to have? Pause the video…Take a moment and ask yourself this question and answer in a short simple way.

This will help you know why you are there at the class/workshop and believe that you are in control of you.

How to Overcome Self Consciousness by Focusing on Other’s Needs?

Ask yourself, “What is in it for them?” “How does it benefit them?” “How can I serve?”
Assess needs by asking questions at a class/workshop (write it down, raise of hands etc.)
They need to know what oils to use for their issues
They need to know how to join
They need to know what happens afterwards

Needs of Builders/Sharers
