Who doesn’t need an essential oil for manifestation? We have great ideas and sometimes it dies in our heads. How can we move from thought to action with more ease and flow??
Litsea is a plant native to East Asia. For hundreds of years it has been used by the indigenous people of Taiwan in traditional health practices. It is very popular and can be used for so many things!! It is also known by the name “mountain pepper” May Chang, in Mandarin. Litsea grows on a tree. It has lemon-scented flowers and small fruits that look like little peppers. The essential oil is steam distilled from the small pepper-like fruits. Litsea is currently sold in the Australian market only.
Be careful using Litsea topically on younger children. It can be spicy. Litsea has <42% Geraniol. “Geraniol has antifungal, antiseptic, cancer-preventative, and sedative properties.”1 To me, it seems like a less expensive but powerful version of Melissa oil. Melissa has <35% Geraniol. Litsea has <25% Limonene. Limonene: Limonene is a monoterpene, a chemical constituent found in essential oils. Limonene is found in most citrus oils. Limonene has cancer cell inhibition abilities.
You may incorporate Litsea into your daily supplement routine for the antioxidant support your cells need to maintain health. Litsea oil also promotes the health of the cardiovascular, immune, nervous, and respiratory systems.*
Aside from using it internally, you can also use Litsea oil topically on daily basis. Adding Litsea to your skin care routine will help keep your skin clean and clear. Litsea blends with Lavender, Sandalwood, Frankincense, or Cedarwood.
