For a long time, Jasmine was too difficult to get in large quantities, so dōTERRA only gave Jasmine away as incentive gifts.

Studies show that Clove oil and Jasmine absolute has the highest antioxidant abilities. Different antioxidants do different things. This particular one in Jasmine helps protect the skin from damage, premature aging and discoloration. 1
Jasmine oil is actually an absolute. Absolutes are extracted in a complex manner that requires the use of chemical solvents such as alcohols that are later removed during the final stages of production. Absolutes are reported to have a more powerful aroma and potency than essential oils. They are generally thicker liquids than essential oils too.
Jasmine is known as the “King of Flowers” or “Queen of the Night.” Jasmine symbolizes Hope, Happiness, & Love. Our Jasmine Touch is diluted perfectly. It comes from delicate white flowers from India. These flowers are hand-picked early in the morning when the flowers are most fragrant and have the highest percentage of aromatic components intact. This is an extremely labor-intensive oil to produce. Jasmine is very sought after in the perfume industry and in aromatherapy.
Jasmine blends well with: Bergamot, Copaiba, Frankincense, Geranium, Helichrysum, Lemongrass, Melissa, Rose, Sandalwood, Wild Orange, Roman Chamomile, Lavender and Lemon.

Jasmine invites one to release distorted perceptions of self, of sex and of joy.
Spiritually, we need to have a balance of joy and trials. Jasmine invites us to have more self awareness and that invites more self respect. It helps us release sexual traumas through sexual experiences or false beliefs from social upbringing. It helps release fears, resistance and balances obsessions.
Jasmine helps us feel spiritually pure, clean and wholesome. We all have our trials, but we can’t let those trials stop us from progressing and finding our happiness.
The World’s First Jasmine Essential Oil
What we know as Jasmine essential oil is actually an absolute. However, this past year (2020) with the global pandemic, there were anomalies in the worldwide supply chain making a big surplus of Jasmin petals. doTERRA’s partners created a new essential oil for Jasmine (rather than extracting the Jasmine absolute through solvents, it was able to be distilled as an essential oil). It may not be likely to do this again. So, this may only have been a one-time product.
