In our fast paced life, it is easy to get caught up. There is not much we can change about the world, all we can do is work on finding inner peace despite whats happening in the world.
As parents, we want to teach our children to be happy and have a happy life. If we are not setting that example, then it is hard for our kids to learn how to be happy adults.
Here are 4 simple steps to follow to get started on this lifetime of inner peace.
1. How is gut health linked to the lack of inner peace?
Any time we feel discouraged, grief, confused and worried, our gut stops working optimally. It slows down and focuses all its energy to protect the heart and help the brain ‘figure it out.’
Our gut has more neurotransmitters than our brains! Neurotransmitters are brain chemicals that help with cellular communications. When the gut is not well, it is a breading ground for overgrowth of fungus, bad bacteria and parasites.
When the gut is overrun with invaders, you may have trouble remembering things, you don’t feel as sharp or you may even feel a lot of brain fog. When you sleep, you don’t feel fully rested and energized in the morning.
When the gut neurotransmitters are affected and hijacked by microscopic invaders, we can feel overwhelmed in an instant! If you add an extra thing or two on your ‘plate’ you can quickly get irritated and overwhelmed. And this my friend, robs us of INNER PEACE!
What can be done about the gut?
There are many things we can do. We should do a gut cleanse and restore first off to get quick results. Add citrus essential oils to your drinking water every day to help keep the gut clean.
Next, we need to address the root cause. We can ‘treat’ these nasty invaders until the cows come home but in order to make a huge lasting result, we need to find out why we had that problem in the first place.
2. Balancing the Heart Chakra
The heart and gut are like our 2nd and 3rd brains. Have you heard of having a “gut-feeling” about something? Or your something in your heart says “no” or just feels “wrong.” You’ve heard people talk about the heart and mind connection right?
Essential oils have fantastic positive energy to help us heal and balance energetically. Anything we do energetically will help us physically.
Heart Chakra Essential Oils:
Eucalyptus, Geranium, Lime, Marjoram, Melaleuca, Peppermint, Rose, Thyme, Ylang Ylang, Serenity Blend, Elevation Blend, Breathe Blend
Physically, all these oils are great at assisting the body to cleanse the invaders mentioned above. These oils help on a mental and spiritual level too. While you are doing a gut cleansing, lets do some heart cleansing. The above are the oils are some essential oils, you can pick from to help heal your heart and balance your heart chakra.

3. What’s at root of it all?
The root of all the distress is fear! The root of all fear is a disconnection to God, our power source.
This diagram demonstrates how our fears stops us from feeling peace by not allowing us to express freely and being open to others. As you can see the root of it all is simply a disconnection to God. Knowing the problem can help us find the resolution easily. That resolution is to reconnect to God.
4. Meditate & Self-Evaluation
Regular meditation and self-evaluation helps us see what we need to change to allow inner peace. The common word in the christian world for change is ‘repent’. Repentance for most of us is changing the good to better. Here are some diagrams for you to ponder about. It is good to take time to self-evaluate and change the negative thinking patterns to positive ones.
When you meditate and be still, you’ll be able identify fears that you can change into faith based emotions. It is liberating. I know no other way to find peace except through connecting back to God, and releasing fear by holding onto faith.
Let me know what you think about taking this approach to finding and maintaining inner peace?
