My objective is to help bring more peace and light to the world through sharing the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. No matter who you are, human beings are happiest when we are together and loving on each other. We create world peace by learning how to get along. As parents, we have great power and influence on our children and consequently the world communities.
I hope that all parents learn to align their parenting to the divine truths and teach their children these things. The disintegration of families is the root cause of the many problems of the world. The solution to many of the problems in the world can be solved with great parenting that encompasses the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Teach your children to be considerate and reliable. Teach them to have high standards and values. Help them practice collaborative behaviors like sharing, delegating, trusting, and organizing.
The very negative culture of Individualism underlining modern society is creating a lot of internal conflicts in many people. Society has a habit of pendulum swinging from one side to the other. In the past, it was the culture of mindless conformity and now it is the celebration of individualism. The best approach is always the balanced approach where we understand our individual place as an integral part of the whole. Can we celebrate harmony instead of individualism?
Individualism separates, compares, and competes. It promises joy but never delivers because it is insatiable. It only creates more hollow holes in our hearts when all we really want is to feel complete.
Imagine putting a puzzle together. You come to the end and discover one piece missing. What do you do? You would search for it right? You need it to complete the puzzle right? That one piece is just one piece but it has its place in the puzzle. The puzzle is just not complete without it.
Likewise, you are one person but you are special and important. You play a special role in the grand scheme of things. You are unique. No one can really replace you. You will know your place in relation to the rest of the world when you serve and sacrifice for the whole. Love is developed as we make the effort to serve and sacrifice for each other. We are our sisters and brothers keeper. We can’t be operating as individual silos. We must unite and operate as a collaborative society. Jesus Christ taught this concept and called it Zion! Let’s decide to consecrate our all for each other. Bring to the table what gifts and talents you have and serve and sacrifice it to the whole. In return all your needs shall be met too.
It may seem too visionary but God has commanded it. Start by creating zion in your own home first. The family unit is what society is made up of.
It is my observation that children and adults who adopt fully the Individualism mentality have a selfish tendencies and struggle to get along with others in the home and in society. The main reason why our subconscious adopts this mentality is that we have a need to be loved, special, and important. The world tells us to satisfy these fundamental human needs by separating yourself from others by being different. In the name of being different, people subconsciously develop a contrary nature in order to feel loved, special, and important. When you put yourself above others, or beneath others, or apart from others you create a distance. In that lonely distance, it is easier to blame people for being cliquish or intolerant of you. In the extreme, this leads intolerances of extreme behaviors because people are confused about their identities. Because people have forgotten their divine identities, they use sexual orientation, career, sports, talents, illnesses and many other things to identify themselves by.
When our fundamental human needs are fully met by God, we have a life purpose, we feel fulfilled and energized. Connecting fully with God satisfies the hunger and thirst for the world to change and approve of us. We are not threatened by differences but rejoice in them. Many of the mental illnesses comes from childhood traumas that haven’t been resolved properly. Needless to say, it comes from poor parenting where children are not loved, safe, properly instructed and prepared for the world.
