Guaiacwood is the oil of Persistence & Patience. It is also known as Sacred or Holy wood. Guaiacwood helps calm and soothes the nerves, thus making it safe for you to release any emotional pains. It invites you to patiently dissolve disharmony as your mind receives clarity and wisdom. With this new clarity you can begin to trust in the divine timing more and create more order in all areas of your life. With divine wisdom you can patiently heal your life in the correct order.
Guaiacwood is often used in perfumery and skincare products because of its skin cleansing and protective qualities. dōTERRA Guaiacwood oil is exclusively sourced from the Chaco Forest in Paraguay. It is steam-distilled from the heartwood of the Bulnesia Sarmientoi tree. When it is cut, the essential oil in heart wood turns a bright blue color. The distilled essential oil is semi-solid at room temperature and therefore needs to be slightly diluted with fractionated coconut oil to be more liquid. It can be used both topically and aromatically.
