If we are not intentionally creating joy, what is the default thing we creating?
At first it may seem like just another thing to do among all the things we have to do daily but this is the most important thing we should do.
It isn’t as difficult as you might think and it is worth everything you have to offer. When we learn to focus on creating joy we immediately create ease and flow in our lives.
What is JOY?
Joy is a very high vibrating emotion. It is the deep feeling of happiness infused with a depth of peace regardless of the situation. It is the vibrational level we need to be to reach our highest potential.
Why should we focus on JOY?
When we have joy, we attract everything good to us. It may seem like the world is rigged to bless and protect you. That is what God wants for us. That is our purpose.
“Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy”. ~ 2 Nephi 2:25
Joy brings more peace to you and the world. Joy helps you see solutions to all your problems. Positive people are attracted to joy therefore your friends will be more positive. Your old negative friends will fade out. Joy helps you be more stable and level headed. You are more content therefore you are less likely to have addictions and self destructive behaviors. Of course joy means your body is flooded with hormone chemicals dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins. These natural chemicals helps reduce pains and allows the body to heal quickly.
When we have joy as a focus, we listen to our heart compass more. The more intuitive you are, the closer you are to your divine source. This is the source of truth, wisdom, light, and all things good which helps you make good decisions leading to success in all areas including but not limited to relationships, work, career, money, physical health, and education.
We can’t afford not to focus on joy
If we don’t have joy right now then we are focused on something else. We all know that joy is a good thing but why would people choose to unintentionally focus on something else?
If we are not focused on joy then what else are we focused on? We are focused on the opposite such as shame and other fear-based energies. Sorry to break it to you, but many people are negative and they don’t even know it. I was the same too. Until I became aware of my thoughts and beliefs I was very reactive and passive.
The fruit of joy and peace will be our gauge if we are truly positive or not.
When we are focusing anything else but joy we attract more unnecessary dramas in our lives not different to a drunk person putting themselves in hazardous situations. They can’t see solutions to problems whether it is in relationships, work, business, money or health. The see problems where positive people see opportunities. Negativity impairs and limits us in many ways.
When we don’t intentionally choose to receive joy, choose to experience joy, and choose to create joy, we are essentially choosing the default. I appreciate the saying, ‘if you fail to plan then you are planning to fail.’ No one wants to admit that they are intentionally choosing to fail or cause their own dramas, but it is the default if they don’t intentionally choose the positive.
How do we focus on JOY?
- Intentionally choose joy by ‘wearing joyful positive lenses.’ We all have the power to choose to see the world through positivity. That means you believe that life happens FOR you not TO you. What you focus on will grow. You are a mighty creator so create intentionally not haphazardly.
- Believe that God loves you and wants the best for you. It is better to assume that God is blessing you and knows what He is doing than to be fearful and angry with Him for not doing what you want or think He should do. Fill your heart up with God’s love, then you won’t need others to fill your human needs of love, belonging, importance, security, and freedom.
- Be self aware and awaken to yourself. Recognize behavior and patterns in yourself that are not congruent to your divine joy. You can easily identify them because it is when you don’t feel good, happy, energized, light, and joyful. When you are worried, complaining, blaming, being angry or offended, that is a clue that you are focusing on the opposite energy to joy! Know that all people start out descending before we can ascend. Initially, we will be reactive and passive in our approach to the world. When we hone our energy and take notice a little more of our heart energy, we will be more awaken. When you have practice this enough, you get to a point where you live in a happier emotional ‘home’ all the time regardless of what is happening in the world. This is when you have transcended the world! It is a powerful place to be.
- Be grateful and filled with divine love. Gratitude is huge! It is a mature acknowledgment of the divine powers around you and that opens you up to change. The change is a greater receptivity to divine love, peace and joy.
- Use essential oils to support your new habits and create positive behaviors. Essential oils have high vibrations. It helps you stay uplifted and familiar with that energy. Before you know it, that energy is the energy you have been accustomed to and anything lower vibration will now be unnatural and uncomfortable. Below are my top suggestions of essential oils for joy.
