Does your dad do this too? As I was growing up my dad would say random sayings, which I don’t know if he quoted things correctly or not, but sometimes it sticks in my head! He was like Flint Lockwood’s dad from the animation Cloudy With A Chance of Meatball. My dad was a fisherman too. In this case, it wasn’t strictly fishing metaphors. Haha
I hear this quote sometimes repeated in my head.
It just reminds me to stay on track. I am on the right track when I feel happy and excited about what I do. Some moments the negative voices sneak in my mind causing me momentary doubts. During that time I have to pause and check my inner dialogues. This quote and others have come to mind helping me to have faith in my dreams.
Don’t let go of that courage my friends. Be fiercely loyal to your dreams. You are just as good and deserving as everyone else in the world.
