This is a more serious oil.
It is TIME! You no longer need to hide undesirable aspects of yourself behind a mask. Black Pepper oil helps you have courage to be honest with yourself and explore deep inside.
Most addictions, such as smoking, are inabilities to think rationally, self-rejection, and avoiding buried emotions. If left unresolved, this situation can develop into diseases. Black Pepper helps clean you out, helps move things along and allow you to bravely face issues and then resolve them for good.
It may be uncomfortable but it will be worth it. You will be free and truly satisfied in the end.
How do you help that one family member who has this awful addiction to something that you feel is going to perhaps kill them one day? They seem to not have any control left to withstand this addiction. Addictions take over the body’s will power and almost has a mind of it’s own. How did this start in the first place? Let’s explore this.
I am amazed the more I learn about Black Pepper oil. This oil is a gem! This oil is extracted from the unripe fruit of the plant. It is very high in antioxidant levels. Black Pepper essential oil is high in monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes, so to me, it means great for restoring BRAIN functions. Just think of Black Pepper as a powerful cell receptor site cleaner! It also cleanse up self-destructive emotions and false beliefs too.
This spicy oil is very concentrated so a little bit goes a long way.
BODY
Black Pepper oil is warming to the body. We need warm oils for muscles and joints. Warm oils also literally warm up the body and mind. Warming an area of the body means more blood circulation. More blood circulation means more nutrients get to that part of the body. Nutrients help the body repair and function optimally.
Cold Hands and Feet: Dilute 3 drops Black Pepper, 1 drop Thyme with a little Fractionated Coconut Oil and massage into hands and feet.1 Use regularly.
Rheumatic – Muscle & Joints Support Blend: Blend together 1 drop Black Pepper, 4 drops Marjoram, and 4 drops Lavender with a small amount of Fractionated Coconut Oil. Apply on areas of concern.2
Arthritic – Muscle & Joints Support Blend: Blend 2oz Fractionated Coconut Oil, 2 drops Black Pepper, 1 drop Ginger, 3 drops Coriander, 4 drops Helichrysum, 6 drops Roman Chamomile, and 4 drops Patchouli. Apply on areas of concern.3
Any Old Internal Soreness, Ache, or Discomfort: Apply Black Pepper to site of soreness, ache, or discomfort. Any old internal soreness, ache, or discomfort that has repaired wrong may experience a surprise restoration or should I say, renovation! My friend had a knee soreness, ache, or discomfort when she was younger and for about 30 years, she experienced uncomfortable irregular discomfort in that knee. After using the dōTERRA oils and products a few months, her one weak knee swelled up for three days. It was sore but after the swelling went down, her knees looked smooth again and did not hurt anymore. In fact, she was able to run without soreness, aches, or discomfort. Black Pepper assisted her in body in the restoration process. Dr. Susan Lawton speaks about this too. This strengthens my belief that our body is truly remarkable.
Stimulate Appetite: In a diffuser add 2 drops Black Pepper and 2 drops of Lemon oil to encourage individuals to boost energy and create interest in food again. You may know someone who is recovering from illness or has chemotherapy side effect. Some people in nursing homes have lost their appetite due to large amounts of drugs and depressing moods. Diffuse these oils to help them eat and enjoy food again.
Bumps & Bruises: Mix 3 drops Black Pepper, 4 drops Cypress, 3 drops Lavender oil and rub onto location regularly.4 Depending on where the problem is and the severity of it, you might want to do an epsom soak with these oils, too.
Digestion Relief: Dilute 2 drops Black Pepper and 5 drops Marjoram with a little Fractionated Coconut Oil and rub on the abdomen.5 Massage tummy in a clockwise direction.
Black Pepper can be added to other combination of essential oils to help assist the body in digestion and reducing discomfort in the gut.
Maintain An Already Healthy Blood Pressure: Blend 1 drop Black Pepper and 4 drops Wild Orange and inhale. Rub on the bottom of feet, too.6
Runner’s Rub: 1 oz Fractionated Coconut Oil, 2 drops Black Pepper, and 5 drops Rosemary oil apply to calves before and after run to help with endurance and reduce muscle cramping.7
Cold & Flu–Support-Immunity-&-Open-Airways Inhalant Blend: On an inhaler wick, mix 2 drops Black Pepper, 2 drops Eucalyptus, 2 drops Basil, 2 drops Ginger, 4 drops Frankincense, and 8 drops Bergamot.8 Click here for more info on inhalers.
Black Pepper oil is one of the ingredients in the dōTERRA On Guard+ Softgels.
Flavoring: Add Black Pepper oil to your meat marinades and sauces.
Smoking: 1 drop under tongue and inhale to assist the body with overcoming cigarette cravings and dealing with the associated anxious feelings, emotions, or tension.9 I would add a drop of Clove oil to that for good measure.

Black Pepper is the Oil of Unmasking. According to the Emotions & Essential Oils, the negative emotions Black Pepper oil helps to release are as follows: Emotional dishonesty, repressed emotions, trapped, prideful, superficial
The positive properties we can incorporate are the following: Emotional honesty, authentic, courageous, motivated, self-aware, integrity
Any addiction is our way of masking the true self because deep deep inside we feel small, insignificant, unimportant and unloved. Sometimes, people have buried this so deep they don’t even know it is there. One sure way to know of its existence is the presence of physical addictions, especially to cigarettes. If you are helping someone in this way, please remember, we can not force anyone to do anything. People have to want to change first.
Once people decide that they want to change, they have to figure out what the false beliefs about their self are and why they want to hide it. The best place to look is to go back to the childhood. During childhood we mistakenly think that doing something bad is equal to BEING bad. It is not. Since we all want to be ‘good’ we hide the bad behavior side of us.
When we hide and bury the less-understood parts of ourselves long enough, we divert that negative energy to erratic, compulsive or addictive behaviors. The expressed erratic, compulsive or addictive behaviors are only a mask for an unresolved aspect of the inner self. If we truly want to stop the erratic, compulsive or addictive behaviors, we need to allow ourselves to dig deep and finally face suppressed issues. It is ok to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is allowing yourself to be human like everyone else. It allows you to connect to others and feel equal.
Black Pepper fortifies the mind and spirit to relieve sadness and all the perceived darkness within. In reality, everyone has both dark and light inside them. That is what makes us human. We are all working on reducing the dark side of us to the point we are filled with light. Light means happiness, peace, love, and intelligence.
Smell Black Pepper to help you open up. You are safe. When you feel safe, you allow your body to fight against any physical invaders in your body that you’ve let in because you deemed yourself unsafe or undeserving of protection. When you stop judging yourself so harshly, you allow the universe to be kinder to you again. You no longer need to be trapped under the emotional load.
Ads.Affirmations:
>>I have the courage to be me.
>>It is safe for me to resolve my dark side now.
>>I am free to be me!
SPIRIT
This is a time to review our beliefs. What do you really believe about the spirit being you are?
Do you believe you are bad, broken, worthless, or deficient somehow? Do you believe that you can’t allow another person to see who you really are? Do you think that people won’t like or accept you any more if you show them who you really are?
Use Black Pepper if you are ready to take off the mask and love yourself. You may find that you are like everyone else. When we are connected to people again, we will feel self-love and acceptance.
Judging self, hating self, loathing self is actually a form of pride not humility. Of course, most of this is done subconsciously because we haven’t been still enough to re-evaluate our inner workings. When we stop and think about it, when we judge ourselves, we are being willful (doing things our way) and taking over God’s job!!
It takes courage to love yourself. We hide when we hate ourselves. Many of your close friends and family will love you more the more you fully open up. If you are unwilling to let others give you advice and direction because you fear it will make you look somehow bad, stupid, or less, it is time to open up, take courage, and be humble.
We are still in the middle of this life, and we are still changing and BECOMING something better. We are not done yet. What makes us think we can sentence ourselves to failure and darkness while still in the midst of things? Let God do that. Our task is simple. We only expected to look at where we are presently and work on what we can work on now as we continue to progress.
Black pepper goes in and warms your soul up allowing you to love yourself. Believe that God loves you unconditionally because you are His!! You did not need to prove yourself to Him.
Any time we loathe ourselves we allow and attract things that abuse us mentally, take our time, take our money or energy and/or sabotage our success, peace, and happiness. As much as God wants to bless you, you are being unwilling to receive those blessings.
Black Pepper helps you heal from old physical injuries. Likewise, these old injuries may have affected you on other levels such as in the mind and spirit. Some people may assume that they are not worthy of God’s love or protection.
When you start this healing, you may experience a healing catharsis. You may have days or feeling “raw” and vulnerable. If you allow yourself to face the problem, and acknowledge the good in it, then you can heal faster.
The essential oils are representative of God’s love. So the solution is always to allow God’s love in. Receive and accept it. You can develop a love for yourself like God loves you. No matter how you messed up, you are still loved. Don’t take over God’s job by judging yourself now and sentencing yourself to doom and gloom forever while you are still in the middle of your journey. We don’t know the whole picture. In our minds, these ‘loose threads of life’ will come together somehow in the big tapestry of life better than we can ever imagine.
