Balsam Fir
Balsam Fir is the oil of Strength and Steadfastness. Balsam Fir helps us develop and balance our masculine energy. It is good to be strong and steadfast. Let go of the subconscious benefits of being weak and fragile.
Be strengthened with each challenge or trial in life. You cultivate more strength when you allow yourself to be refined by each trial. Clear out the negative perspectives and see only the advantages from life’s challenges.
Permit Balsam Fir to remind you of the divine power source from which your true strength and wisdom stems. Balsam Fir invites all to form close relationships and find strength in family and community. No matter the situation, we are all better off together than apart.
Of course, with close relationships we risk inflicting and receiving deep wounds on and from each other. Know that those closest to you will offer the best life lessons to strengthen your faith, if you allow it.
There is much unnecessary suffering which can cripple us spiritually when we carry burdens alone. Balsam Fir prompts all to be at one with God, be obedient, and have courage to change. This change will provide the balm of rest and healing you yearn. This way you remain steadfast in any circumstance.
Some Biblical scholars believe that the ‘Balm of Gilead’ (see Gen. 37:25) was a rare perfume used medicinally made from an Arabian Balsam Tree. Balsam Fir is high in beta-pinene and alpha-pinene, which is soothing and relaxing. It has a moderate amount of beta-phellandrene and limonene, which helps with cleansing. dōTERRA sustainably sources Balsam Fir from Canada.
