For most of my adult life I’ve struggled with back problems. After I had all my kids, my back was so bad, I couldn’t even lift a bag of groceries without hurting. Perhaps it was exaggerated by the pregnancies? Perhaps this and perhaps that… People tell me, ‘It’s your core, strengthen your core.’ So I did. I worked out and at one point was 103lbs! And still even then, I had several incidents of my back pulling so badly that I was bedridden and couldn’t even sit in a wheelchair.
I was told, “It’s sciatica!” I tried to fix that too with stretching! It didn’t help. Eventually, I went to chiropractors which brought much relief but never completely resolved it. I didn’t want to take anymore pain medications because it may eventually damage my organs, so I had to change my health approach away from the passive symptom management model.
Finally, what made a most lasting change was the emotional and spiritual change. Any changes I made on those deeper levels manifested physically. We all keep looking to doctors and ‘experts’ to give us ‘an answer’ to that question ‘what the heck is going on here in my body!’ But the best answer is already here and it is found within you! With more self awareness, which led to the emotional and spiritual change, I naturally ate better, I allowed myself to sleep deeper, and I was more consistent with physical self care. The back pains healed along that journey of change and progression. Although I will always have something more to ‘work on’ relating to my back and body in general, I feel like my younger self again. Yes, I’ve come a long way and you can too.
The back or more accurately the spine, is a large area which connects to many parts of the body. It is part of our central nervous system. The back plays a major part in the cellular communication of the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is the part of the nervous system responsible for control of the automatic bodily functions such as breathing, the heartbeat, and digestive processes. The autonomic nervous system balances the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system controls your ‘fight or flight’ responses. The parasympathetic nervous system controls your ‘feed and breed’ and then the ‘rest and digest’ responses. We want to achieve the healthy balanced state between sympathetic and parasympathetic called Homeostasis. Your back pains can indicate a lack of homeostasis in the rest of your body.
Sometimes the lack of homeostasis creates dense yet weak energy in our back which when or if we have some sort of ‘accident’ will be manifested at the exact weakest area of our back. The discomfort will linger long term and the healing time will be extended if we don’t resolve it at the ‘energy imbalance’ root level.
I have learned to read the literal language of the body to help me get to the root causes of my misalignments. The misalignments are always spiritual misalignment of my higher self. Spiritual homeostasis will manifest as physical homeostasis. And this is how I gauge my progress.
BODY
Muscular support: Aromatouch, Deep Blue, Ginger, Wintergreen, Marjoram. Mix one or a combination of these oils with Fractionated Coconut Oil and massage it on the muscles. Use a warm, wet towel on top. The water drives the oils in deeper and faster. The warmth excites the cells which stimulates more activity.

You are ultimately responsible for who you are and how happy you are. Our immediate natural responses are often in misalignment to our higher path. We respond in fear and negativity. Often, we give our power of choice away by blaming of people and situations because we hold onto some negative limiting beliefs.
The back pains helps us identify our subconscious limiting beliefs to help us re-align with our higher self. God has sent us here to succeed. We forget sometimes and get caught up and wound up in the temporary material life. We are reminded that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience. Whatever energy we have on the spiritual plain will be manifested on the physical plain. It is best that we work on the spiritual changes so that our physical world changes.
God loves us and supports us more than we know. We are often surrounded by angels and guardians. It us up to us to choose to allow that help and support. When we remember this truth and are connected to a higher source we are powerful and supported in all possible ways.
