Modern Essentials Smartphone App

This is very similar to the Modern Essentials book, but it has less information.  You can look up different oils and ailments, but you don’t get the general essential oil information on essential oils.

The Essential Life Essential Oil Guide

This is a great book.  Less like a scholarly reference book and more like an informational magazine, this essential oil guide gives you a page or two on each essential oil single or blend and some a general guide on major health concerns from cuts and bruises to hormonal concerns.

The Essential Life App

This is a companion app to the Essential Life book.  It’s pretty fantastic.  Right now it is only available on iTunes.  I’ll do a review when it is out on the other platforms and I have had a chance to review it.

Emotions and Essential Oil Guide (Now called Essential Emotions)

Essential oils have a powerful tie to emotions.  This book is a specific guide to essential oils and emotions.  You can look up an essential oil and read all about its emotional ties.  There is an index in the back where you can look up an emotion and find what essential oil it may influence or be influenced by.

Diffusers For Your Home

See doTERRA’s diffuser lineup.  I’ve tried lots of diffusers, and I think doTERRA has the most robust diffusers out there.

Great Little Affordable Diffuser (~$14)

This is a great little diffuser that will run up to 9 hours on sleep mode and has those fancy different color changing lights.

Car Diffuser

Of the ones reviewed, I like this one the best.  It also plugs into a USB.  It sits in a cupholder and works very similar to other evaporative diffusers.

Necklace Diffuser

This diffuser necklace is a well made personal diffuser.  There are many to choose from, and you can personalize them with the color pads.  I like this selection for the motivational phrases on the back.  Words are powerful.

Bracelet Diffuser

This is another way to bring your essential oils with you and diffuse right around you.  Plus this lava rock bracelet has the added feature of applying the oils topically on your pulse point.  The smooth lava rocks have hundreds of pores to hold your essential oils as they diffuse.  This bracelet is also adorned with chakra beads which do help to sink unwanted energy.

Fractionated Coconut Oil

By far the best carrier oil for essential oils.  Use this to help improve the delivery topically and dilute your oils for use.  Fractionated Coconut Oil is sometimes abbreviated FCO.

Essential Oil Cap Stickers

Having a sticker on the cap of your essential oil bottle is ABSOLUTELY essential for using your essential oils especially from a bag or box.  There is nothing more frustrating than pulling out 10 bottles to check the labels to find the one bottle you want.

Nasal Inhalers

If you are using your oils for anything based on cognitive, mental, memory, emotion, or mindset training, it is best to use them aromatically.  Inhalers provide the best delivery method in my opinion.  Here are some great inhalers fo use.

To use an inhaler, you just put a few drops on the wick, and seal the wick in the tube with the cap, then screw the cover on.  When you need a whif of the blend, just hold it to your nose and… inhale.  Enjoy.

Spray Caps

These caps work with your old 5mL and 15mL essential oil bottles.  They turn your bottles into misters, so you can spray your pillow with lavender or put bug repellant on your skin.

Glass Lotion Jars

I’ve also used these cobalt blue glass jars for DIY projects.  They work great.
